In this class, students will practice throwing and hand-building skills, as well as altering pieces thrown on the wheel. Together we will explore creating pieces that have both sculptural and functional qualities such as salt and pepper shakers, cookie mugs, and more! Students will utilize techniques including coil-building, pinch-pots, sculpting, and throwing on the wheel to create their fun and functional works of art!

This is a great space for both new and experienced students to grow and explore through clay.
