Please read ALL the details below before sending us a file.

Here’s how it works:

1. You purchase your place in line on this page.

2. Send us a file to createbot@createartincommunity.com. (Please do NOT send us a file before you’ve purchased!)

3. We email you to approve the file and let you know when it’s printing (so you can come and watch!).

4. We send you an invoice, which you promptly pay.

5. You pick it up!

Now, the details :

• You can use any program you’d like, but we recommend: SketchUp, TinkerCAD, and Fusion369.

• Files MUST be .stl

• Single color ONLY. We will send back a piece that has multiple colors. The acrylic IS paintable.

• Color options: teal, orange, red, black, white, green

• File size limited to 10MB

• Printing time: 5 hours or less. When you make the piece, the program you use will give you an estimated printing time and weight. Please review this before sending to us.

• Piece size is a maximum of 4 in x 4 in. Smaller works great also.

• You must purchase your place in line here, with a $15 non-refundable service fee. Once we print your piece, we’ll calculate final cost, send and invoice, and deduct the $15 from the final cost.

• Cost is $.20 per gram, plus $15 service fee.

• Createbot prints from the ground up. Some pieces, such as a dollhouse-table, require “scaffolding” to support the edges of the piece during printing and cooling. This happens naturally in the printer, however the scaffolding will need to be removed after. It is simple to do, and we’re happy to give tips. Create is not responsible for removal of scaffolding. The service fee does NOT include removing scaffolding.

  Quality & Other Details

• Users may see slight imperfections in their prints. Slight bumps, holes, or rough edges may occur with 3D printing. You can clean up slight imperfections with sandpaper or other tools at home.

• The printer is very accurate, however there may be some instances where pieces with moveable parts or multiple pieces do not precisely fit together.

• All items printed at Create must be suitable for range of audiences.

• Create staff reserves the right to deny printing of pieces for any reason.

• Pieces are not returnable, nor refundable.
